O'Leary Andersen Christensen Rochestown Cork Mark O'Leary Guitar Arild Andersen Double Bass and Jon Christensen. Cork Guitarist Mark O'Leary appeared in concert with iconic Norwegians Arild Andersen and Jon Christensen. Performing music by O'Leary and Andersen as well as improvised and ambient material, a very respectable crowd showed unanimous approval as the group performed an eclectic set which engaged the audience with some attendees insinuating it was the best concert that they had attended of the Cork guitarist since his performance with the Kenny Wheeler quartet. ECM would have been duly impressed with the individual and group aspect to the performances. O'Leary's material had just been recorded by his American group in New York and should be released at a later juncture. Gardjenta, Outhouse, A Simple Question, Serene Lament, stand out numbers. The concert was supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy Dublin. |
