GARY LUCAS SOLO ACOUSTIC FIREWORKS IN WOODSTOCK THIS FRI. NIGHT 4/ 12/ 24 @ THE COLONY This Friday night April 12th 2024 GARY LUCAS performs solo acoustic fireworks at THE COLONY WOODSTOCK, 22 Rock City Road in Woodstock NY. The show starts at 7pm with singer /songwriter Mark Delgado opening. An eclectic mix of original songs, instrumentals, and stories from the trenches-- plus Lucas’s arrangements of country blues, Leos Janacek, classic film themes, 30’s Chinese pop, and special tributes to his friends the late Captain Beefheart and Jeff Buckley, GARY LUCAS continues to astonish with his wide-ranging repertoire and the ferocity of his playing. Sitting in for a song is his old friend Fred Perry, whose brother Richard co-produced Captain Beefheart’s legendary first album “Safe As Milk”. |
