Vocalist NICOLE HENRY Plays CITY WINERY, NYC Saturday, July 23 In promoting her 8th CD release TIME TO LOVE AGAIN, award-winning vocalist Nicole Henry debuts at City Winery in New York City, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 7:30PM in The Loft. This CD reached #4 on the U.S. Jazz Week Chart, spending four months in the TOP 40 and features Henry’s sweet yet powerful voice singing an eclectic mix of jazz standards and reimagined pop tunes by a diverse group of iconic composers including Anthony Newley, James Taylor, Rodgers & Hart, Buffy St. Marie, Ned Washington, Stevie Wonder and Joan Armatrading. Henry returns to NYC after February and March performances at Joe’s Pub and 54 Below. The TIME TO LOVE AGAIN tour has also visited stages in Philadelphia; Richmond; Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; Portsmouth, NH; St. Louis; Miami; Orlando; Greensboro; Charlotte and more. Since her first release in 2004, Henry has headlined in 20 countries and earned a Soul Train Award for “Best Traditional Jazz Performance” as well as four TOP 10 albums on Billboard, JazzWeek, U.K. Sweet Rhythms, and HMV Japan charts.
