05.02.2025 Saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Caleb Wheeler Curtis released CD and digital versions of his double album The True Story of Bears and the Invention of the Battery on November 1, 2024 to wide acclaim. On February 5, 2025, Imani Records will release the LP version of the first album, Bears and the Invention of the Battery which also comes with a digital copy of Raise Four: Monk the Minimalist. All versions of the album are available via Caleb's Bandcamp Page. read more 05.02.2025 On February 2, 2025 pianist and composer Taylor Eigsti was awarded the GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for his 2024 album Plot Armor. This achievement marks the 4x GRAMMY nominee's second career win, having previously won in this same category in 2022 for his album Tree Falls. "I'm so deeply honored to receive a second GRAMMY Award for Plot Armor, which is a very special album dedicated to my late mother.
