| A Young Woman on the Path The Path is a horror game in which you play one of six incarnations of Little Red Ridinghood. The Red Girls are sisters, each with a different age and personality. Every girl will be sent to grandmother's. And none will return. Today, Tale of Tales are revealing one of the older sisters: Carmen. Seventeen. A glorious age for a girl. Having left her childhood body behind, she enjoys parading the new Carmen. She is fully aware of the heads that turn when she passes by. She'll give them a little bit extra to look at too. A shake of the hips. A wink of the eye. But no more. Carmen may fancy herself a femme fatale. But inside she knows that all she wants is a little bit of attention. From a strong, warm and handsome man, perhaps. Who can keep her safe. Hold her tight. With a strength that approaches violence. He doesn't need to be as wild as she is, but it wouldn't hurt. In her Livejournal, Carmen will be talking about her life as a young woman. A life that just got interesting. A life that is about to end. Tale of Tales has published new images of the character on the website of The Path. After Robin, Carmen is the second sister to be revealed. Four more to go. One every fortnight. The Path is being developed by Auriea Harvey and Michael Samyn in the independent studio of Tale of Tales in Belgium - also responsible for The Endless Forest and The Graveyard. A unique interactive experience, The Path focuses on atmosphere and storytelling rather than on skills and achievements. Auriea Harvey and Michael Samyn work to expand the medium of games towards a wider diversity of themes and emotional content. Composer/Singer/Performer Jarboe is creating an original soundtrack for The Path and Laura Raines Smith animates all characters. The Path will be released early 2009 for PC. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Game News :: home page |
