Perry is a well-known and respected veteran of the games industry who has been involved in the development of over 100 games on more than 29 different video game platforms. GCDC takes place prior to the Games Convention in Leipzig, August 18th-20th, 2008.

David Perry has been making games for 27 years, and is considered one of the most influential and respected voices of the industry. He has spoken around the world and received the first ever Masters Degree in Interactive Development. For the very first time, Perry will deliver a keynote in Germany, presenting GCDC attendees his vision of the future of video games and the current progress of the world market.

Perry has created and worked on the development of games from large and beloved brands and original properties including The Terminator, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Disney's Aladdin, Earthworm Jim, and The Matrix. With Acclaim Games, Perry focuses on the development of MMO, social network (Facebook / MySpace) and mass-market casual games. All of his current titles are based on the 'free-to-play' business model and rely on a myriad of revenue sources including in-game advertisements and microtransactions in exchange for virtual items.
