| EA Releases Three Casual Titles for Mobile Phones This Month This month EA Mobile launches three new original games for mobile phones: ESPN Darts, Pictionary and The Sims DJ. All three games allow players to indulge in a fun experience whether waiting in long shopping lines or traveling home to visit family this holiday season. Players can compose a rough sketch or a work of art and have their friends guess with Pictionary, create customized mixes and turn them into ringtones with The Sims DJ, and hit a bull's eye with ESPN Darts. Pictionary Pictionary is now available to play on mobile phones either alone or with friends. EA takes one of the best selling board games of all times to the mobile platform and allows players to compete against the phone in a race against time, challenge another player using the same handset or play with up to four friends in multiplayer mode. EA offers a game for all artists, even those who prefer free drawing without time constraints. The new features are innovative for the classic board game, but EA preserves the simple interface that makes it easy for all levels of players to sketch with a pencil, paint bucket, shapes and stamps using the phone's D pad. The Sims DJ The Sims DJ offers music fans and enthusiasts the chance to create their own songs in a variety of popular genres, including Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and Dance. Mix drum beats, bass lines and effects tracks from an extensive collection of music samples built into the game to help take your Sim to DJ superstardom! Conquer the clubs by matching your mixes to the musical tastes of the club-goers in Downtown Pleasantview. Players can also earn Simoleons, The Sims version of currency, to spend on new music samples and equipment, such as speakers, turntables, headphones, and shades. Use The Sims DJ to create ringtones from the songs you produce and save them to your phone. ESPN Darts ESPN Darts combines rich graphics and multiple game modes with steel-tip dart explosions! Users can play the most popular dart games such as X01 (301, 501 or 901) or choose pub classics such as Cricket and Around the Clock. There is also an engaging Tournament Mode, which comes complete with a full storyline for the most passionate player. Automatic on-screen scoring and high-energy sound effects, including crowd cheers and the 'thunk' of darts hitting the board, add to the feeling of a realistic ESPN TV competition. ESPN Darts also allows players to choose from three difficulty settings to satisfy the amateur, budding professional or master dart thrower. Pictionary, The Sims DJ and ESPN Darts all become available on major wireless carriers beginning in December in North America and The Sims DJ is currently available in Europe. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Game News :: home page |
