| New Titles Launch on Wii's Virtual Console Whether you are a seasoned gamer or a complete newcomer to playing games you will have been hard pressed to not have heard of 80s arcade sensation Pac-Man. Starring a hungry yellow sphere named Pac-Man, players must navigate mazes, eat everything they find and at the same time avoid deadly ghosts. After making its NES debut in 1993, Pac-Man returns on the Virtual Console for the price of 500 Wii Points. Wii owners are in for another treat this week when the highly innovative Super Nintendo title ActRaiser makes its Virtual Console debut. ActRaiser is unlike anything you have ever played before, combining side-scrolling platform action with the power of playing god. Playing as an omnipotent being in the simulation sections, players must protect and guide a human civilisation as they evolve and grow. In the action sections players take on the role of a warrior and battle enemy hordes threatening their people. Actraiser is available now for 800 Wii Points. Last but by no means least in this week's Virtual Console offering is comical platformer Bonk's Revenge. Making its debut in 1991, this Turbografx title pits bald-headed hero Bonk against the sinister King Drool III in an amusing take on the platform genre. Head-butt your way to victory in Bonk's Revenge for only 600 Wii Points. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Game News :: home page |
