Lawak Kampus: Spot Check is based on Gempak, one of the most popular comic magazines in Malaysia. The game storyline is based on the Gempak gang's reaction to a random 'spot check'. A spot check is a popular slang term for a random and sudden search for items that are deemed illegal by the school systems. The mechanics of the game revolve around the unique idea of jumping on a trampoline to collect illegal items which are individually colored red, blue, green or yellow.
