Ozura Launches Cicak-Man Mobile Game

Ozura Mobile recently launched the Cicak-Man Mobile Game in an integrated media collaboration with KRU and DiGi Telecommunications. In the wake of the launch, this tournament based competitive game has been gradually but steadily building up to determine the Grand Prize Winner who will win a trip for two to Disneyland, Hong Kong.

Cicak-Man is the dawn of Malaysia's very first "Action Hero Movie" produced by KRU and presented by DiGi. The movie depicts the lives of two best friends where one of them came to inherit superpowers accidentally. The screenplay revolves around how Hairi, or Cicak-Man copes with the transition from normal everyday life to superhero stardom.

The Cicak-Man Mobile Game, offered exclusively to DiGi customers, captures the action-comedy essence of the movie into an enriching mobile gaming experience. Characters from the movie are featured in the gameplay, where each character possesses their own distinctive form of defense and attacking skills. For instance, Danny a lab technician has a unique attacking skill called the 'Giant Syringe Poke' and can attack his opponents by tossing test tubes. Another notorious character is Professor Klon, who has a history of illegal VCD peddling and can attack his enemies by using the 'Multiple Illegal VCD Throws'.

In addition to the game, players can compete with one another by uploading their scores to an online tournament scoreboard. Eight weekly prizes of Samsung SGH-E690 mobile phones will be awarded to players with the highest weekly scores from now until 31st January 2007. Additionally, the player with the highest score within this eight-week tournament period will walk away with the grand prize of two return tickets to Disneyland, Hong Kong. There is no limit to the number of score uploads, thus allowing gamers unlimited number of tries to obtain the highest ranking on the scoreboard.

Powered by Ozura's proprietary mobile gaming platform ? FunlogiX, the Cicak-Man mobile game is compatible with more than 450 different mobile handsets. The mobile game is supported by a suite of mobile content that includes wallpapers and ringtones and is backed by a comprehensive marketing campaign sponsored by DiGi.

DiGi users are able to download the game by sending "GCICAK" to 2000 and participate in the Cicak-Man online game tournament until 31st January 2007.
