| The Grand Finale of Beauty Queen, Malaysia's First & Largest Live Mobile Game Tournament Featuring Miss Malaysia Ozura Mobile has announced the winners of the Beauty Queen Tournament Grand Finale, Malaysia's first and largest live mobile game tournament. The Beauty Queen mobile game series feature Miss Malaysia/World 2004 Gloria Ting. Five of the nation's best mobile gamers who qualified went head to head in the Grand Finale, vying for the Grand Prize of MYR5, 000 in cash and a dinner with Miss Gloria herself. After two hours of fierce competition, 18 year-old Hannie Ting from Sarawak, triumphed over other competitors to claim the Grand Prize and title of Beauty Queen Grand Finale Champion. The Beauty Queen Grand Finale second and third place winners are 17-year old Mohd Farhan (Kelantan) and 29-year old Nik Zul Azmi (Negeri Sembilan) and they received MYR 3,000 and MYR 2,000 cash prizes respectively. The five Grand Finale qualifiers competed in the first elimination round of the Grand Finale to narrow down to four final contestants. The second and final round of the Grand Finale took place between those four to determine the winners. All three games in the Beauty Queen series were used to test the contestants' gaming prowess built from the culmination of series of tournaments which has been ongoing since late March this year. The three editions of the Beauty Queen series in order of their release are Beauty Queen Workout, Beauty Queen Catwalk and Beauty Queen Charity. The Beauty Queen tournament series was developed by Ozura in an effort to increase the public's awareness of the mobile games industry and demonstrate Ozura's capacity as one of Asia-Pacific's leading player in the mobile entertainment market. Beauty Queen tournament games are powered by FunlogiX, a proprietary mobile gaming community platform developed by Ozura. The platform is both GPRS and 3G ready, supporting all major handsets such as Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. A study by Juniper Research reveals that the global mobile entertainment market will be dominated by Asia Pacific. Over the entire period of 2006 to 2011, Asia Pacific is forecasted to contribute 37% of global mobile entertainment revenues. A prize giving ceremony for the Grand Finale winners was conducted on the same day, during which Sibu Community Services Association, a charitable organization which is involved in Methodist care and charity activities for the handicapped, received a donation from Ozura in honour of Miss Gloria Ting and in the spirit of charity reflected in the latest game series edition Beauty Queen Charity.
