| Namco Bandai Forms Namco Bandai Networks Europe Namco Europe's Web & Mobile Content division has announced the formation of a new company aimed at expanding its presence in the maturing mobile content industry in Europe. Namco Bandai Networks Europe will begin trading as of 1st January 2007. This is part of the overall group restructure plans, following the European restructuring by Namco Bandai Group. The new company will focus exclusively on mobile entertainment content based not only on well known Namco brands such as Pac-Man, Galaxian and Ridge Racer, but also the extensive portfolio of games and non-gaming content which Bandai adds, such as Tamagotchi. In addition, the company plans to publish mobile content created specifically for the European market, from both Namco Bandai and third party developers.
