O2 and Electronic Arts say that O2 customers can be the first in the UK to push their driving skills to the limit as Need For Speed Carbon launched on the O2 UK network this weekend. They will have a head start before the eagerly awaited latest chapter in the Need for Speed series becomes available for download to other mobile operators across the UK. Developed by Electronic Arts, Need for Speed Carbon challenges players to the ultimate adrenaline-filled test of driving skill both on the street and on treacherous canyon roads.

Providing an extra dimension to mobile gaming, Need for Speed Carbon is available in both 2D and 3D, making the extreme racing and steep canyon drops even more realistic. Drivers can also race against their friends by selecting a multiplayer mode, letting players experience the thrill of the chase against someone they know.
