| The Shady O' Grady's Rising Star Contest Countdown Continues Announced at the end of July, the Shady O' Grady's "Are You a Rising Star?" contest is now halfway over. With a deadline of Friday, August 25th, if you're an independent musician looking to bring your music to the masses in a fresh, innovative way, then this contest is for you. The upcoming Shady O' Grady's Rising Star, a computer role-playing game set not in a world of fairy tales and dragons but in the contemporary world of music, is looking to expand its featured musical acts. Developed by Gilligames, whose credits include the M.U.L.E. inspired Space HoRSE, and published by Shrapnel Games (publisher of such highly acclaimed titles as Dominions II: The Ascension Wars, Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space, and more), Shady O' Grady's Rising Star is set for an October 2006 worldwide release.
