| MiST Land ? South Ceases Functioning On the 1st of August, 2006 one of the oldest Russian developers MiST land ? South ceases its functioning. The reason for such, prima facie, sudden step is the decision of GFI (the owner of MiST land ? South) to carry out a global consolidation of resources. Within the bounds of integration, under the general brand all the studios owned by GFI will be combined. The application of unified technical processes developed and successfully probe-tested at MiST land will be introduced as well. This action is not the first but logical continuation of GFI's policy, aimed at forming a strong unified brand, under which developers of PC games and mobile content will perform. For internal identification of a studio an appellation meaning its location or kind of activity will be added to "GFI". Thus, on the 1st of August, 2006 MiST land ? South will function under a new name (will be announced in the nearest future) and thereby widen the line of GFI Mobile and GFI UA.
