| EA Games Launches Air Hockey on Mobile Phones in Europe Electronic Arts has announced that EATM Air Hockey, a wireless version of the popular leisure-sport tabletop game will be available to major mobile operators across Europe, including carriers in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom beginning this month. EA Air Hockey brings the speed, action and excitement of air hockey to mobile phones. The game is based on the arcade classic in which two players slam a puck across a table with their mallet in an attempt to score goals against each other. Static electricity allows the puck to cut through an air cushion and glide smoothly across the table into the opponent's goal. Providing the most complete air hockey experience outside of the local pool hall, the game has three difficulty modes and simple one-button controls. Players can compete against the computer or challenge friends for head-to-head play.
