| iTAGG Launches Content Delivery Platform and Signs 8bit Games Ltd iTAGG has launched a content delivery platform and signed award winning mobile games company 8Bit Games as its first customer. The platform, which is free to use with no set up or monthly fee, is aimed at content owners, games developers, image libraries and websites which want to easily deliver and bill for content via mobile. The platform works by seamlessly linking into a customer's existing website. From there content can be ordered and billed using the iTAGG platform and then delivered via the iTAGG mobile gateway direct to consumers' handset. For consumers in the UK the platform offers the opportunity to pay for content via premium SMS. For all others users payment is via PayPal or via iTAGG's own secure online credit card payment portal. iTAGG software is content neutral so that photos, games, ringtones etc. can all be delivered using the same application. The platform can be branded to reflect the look and feel of the customer website and is run over the world's largest 'carrier grade' mobile transaction network provided by mBlox. 8bit Games Ltd., the creators of gaming hits for mobile such as Lemmings, Colin McRae Rally 04 and Conflict:Vietnam will use the iTAGG content delivery platform to offer gamers direct access to their latest hits in addition to existing routes to market. 8bit Games will also use the iTAGG delivery platform to bill for and deliver games both online and via mobile to a global audience. UK customers will have the option to be billed via SMS while gamers outside of the UK will be able to pay for content via a secure WAP link developed by iTAGG. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Game News :: home page |
