| Midway announces Mortal Kombat Armageddon Midway Games Inc. announced that Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is currently in development for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is expected to ship Fall 2006. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon will have the most complete Mortal Kombat roster, including every character from the Mortal Kombat fighting universe, revolutionary Create-A-Fighter and Create-A-Fatality modes, plus a new Konquest mode. Midway also revealed Mortal Kombat: Unchained for the PlayStation Portable system from Sony.
