| Ankama launches Dofus-Arena in open beta tests Ankama Studio Team announces that its game Dofus-Arena can be accessed by everyone in its beta version. Dofus-Arena is a strategic PvP game in which all players have the same amount of points at their disposal to create their team. With Dofus-Arena, Ankama Studio wishes to propose to its strategy-fight enthusiasts a concentrate of the MMORPG Dofus. In this new videogame, players can choose to fight either in a 1vs1 mode or in a 2vs2 mode. They create their own team among a wide range of selection of characters, spells, weapons and all sorts of other available items. Then, they fight within the game arenas where new factors will appear such as the topography, obstacles and other events which will be affecting the process of the game. The aim is no longer to collect the 'best' equipment but to use it best according to your opponents and the environment of the arena where you're fighting. The game keeps on being developed under those open beta tests and new features will be added before its official release, scheduled for mid-year 2006. However, player-testers can already discover new modes such as the replay mode which allows the player to record his fights and exchange the videos with other players, as well as the chat zone and the friend organizer.
