| Rainbow Islands Revolution for Nintendo DS Rising Star Games has announced that the eagerly anticipated Nintendo DS update to Rainbow Islands has 'gone gold' and is entering the final phase of production. Changing the original's platforming antics with a completely touchscreen-based control method, Rainbow Islands Revolution is expected to arrive on shop shelves in mid-to-late March. With an updated graphical style that remains true to the classic Taito aesthetic and additional gameplay modes including competitive multiplayer races, Rainbow Islands Revolution is set to bring those rainbows back to fans of the original and captivate newcomers alike. Rainbow Islands Revolution is the third title in Rising Star Games' series of DS updates to Taito arcades. Rising Star will be announcing the next title in the Revolution series in the spring.
