The World Baseball Classic is a 16-nation tournament featuring the world's best players competing for their home countries or territories. The tournament will take place in March 2006 and gamers can now experience this event exclusively in Major League Baseball 2K6. The World Baseball Classic features the world's best baseball players, competing on 16 teams from the Americas, Asia and Europe. The tournament begins on March 3 and will continue through March 20, when the Finals will be held at Petco Park in San Diego, California. Major League Baseball 2K6 is the exclusive and officially licensed Major League Baseball video game that will be available on every major gaming console, including the Xbox 360 and Xbox video game and entertainment systems from Microsoft, the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Nintendo GameCube, and the PlayStationPortable system.
