| Destineer Studios to Support AGEIA PhysX Technology AGEIA Technologies, Inc., the pioneer in hardware-accelerated physics for games, announced that Destineer Studios has signed a license agreement with AGEIA to use the AGEIA PhysXTM SDK in at least four of its upcoming titles. Using the AGEIA PhysX SDK, Destineer will develop physics-based features specifically designed for the hardware acceleration of the AGEIA PhysX processor. The resulting game titles will offer real-time worlds, gameplay and effects that are almost indistinguishable from real-world scenarios. Realism is an essential component in Destineer's products. The company develops virtual training systems for American military and intelligence organizations and then turns these into commercial videogames. Destineer's first game, First to Fight, which was based on a training tool Destineer developed for the United States Marine Corps, was a top-10 best seller for Xbox the month it was released. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Game News :: home page |
