| GLU names Kristian Segerstr?le as managing director Glu Mobile announced the promotion of Kristian Segerstr?le to the position of managing director of EMEA, overseeing Glu's product development, publishing and financial performance for the region. Segerstr?le was one of the original founders of Macrospace, the UK studio that was acquired by Glu Mobile in 2004. Since the acquisition of Macrospace, Segerstr?le has served as vice president of production for the company's EMEA operations, responsible for production of games and services in EMEA as well as being a key driver of business development and licensing relationships in the region. Since co-founding Macrospace in 2001, Segerstr?le has been a driving force in the creation of more than 40 mobile titles, including award-winning original IP including Fatal Force: Earth Assault and the Ancient Empires series. Segerstr?le has also helped to forge relationships with key brand partners including and Celador International, creator of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, and Cartoon Network.
