Everyman Should Have A Go At Jacking In The New Year

After the excesses of Christmas and New Year, healthy living is at the forefront of everyone's minds, so what better way to start 2006 than by educating the man in your life to the risks of male cancer.

With Sony recently revealing that they have sold over 100 million PS2 consoles worldwide, to a predominantly male audience, Everyman has teamed up for the first time with a games company to deliver its important health message to men. Games publisher Xplosiv will release the high speed, action-packed motorbike racing game 'Jacked' in support of Everyman. This full-on action game will strike the right chord with any red-blooded male and Xplosiv will donate 30p* from every game sold to The Everyman Male Cancer Campaign with the aim of raising 10, 000 GBP.

As well as helping to raise money for vital research into male cancer, Jacked is also helping to raise awareness amongst men. 99% of cases of testicular cancer are curable if caught early enough, so encouraging men to look out for the signs and symptoms can literally save lives. With prostate cancer, one man an hour dies of the disease in the UK, making it the most common cancer in men.

So get your man to jump on his motorbike and prepare for the rush as he races against mad bikers through city streets, urban wastelands and mountain peaked highways in the ultimate game of motorcycle combat. This action game is available from February 10, 2006 from www.xplosiv.net and is available on XBox, Playstation 2 and PC.
