| Major League Gaming's Championship on December 16! Major League Gaming (MLG), the international sanctioning body for the worlds fastest growing sport, professional video gaming, announced that the Central Conference Championship slated for the weekend of December 16 in Chicago will have the largest number of gamers competing of the entire season! Chicago, always a respected hotbed of gaming talent is the last and final stop on the way to the National Championships in New York City January 2006 where MLG's Quarter Million Dollar season ends and top prize money will be awarded to the world's best gamers. For last minute gamers, there are still a few Open-Entry slots still available to go head to head with the world's best at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. The MLG 2005 Season opened January 29 in Washington, D.C., and continued through to San Francisco, Houston, Orlando, San Diego, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Nashville, Los Angeles and Atlanta. With competitive play for popular franchise games including Halo 2 and Super Smash Bros.TM Melee, MLG professional players including Tom 'T-Squared' Taylor, Matt "Zyos" Leto, the 'Ogre' twins Dan and Tom Ryan and Dave "Walshy" Walsh will be competing in Chicago and showing off their world renowned gaming prowess.
