| Glu Mobile launches Alpha Wing 2 Glu Mobile announced the release of Alpha Wing 2, the sequel to the mobile game, Alpha Wing. Alpha Wing 2 features an engaging story, cutting edge sound and graphics, and fast-paced high-quality action gameplay. In the game, players take on the role of one of three brave intergalactic heroes, with one mission: to battle the advancing enemy and defeat the alien menace. Each of the three characters in the game has unique weapons, which can be upgraded by collecting the power-ups found throughout the nine levels of the game. And in a nod to classic shoot ?em up games like Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun, Alpha Wing 2 also features a trio of imposing end of level bosses. Alpha Wing 2 will be available from mobile operators and portals across EMEA from December and will launch in the US in early 2006.
