| John Cena crowned European Superstar Challenge Champion THQ Ltd. announces WWE Champion John Cena as THQ European Superstar Challenge Champion 2005. Cena clinched the top prize in this first THQ European videogame knock-out tournament held on Thursday, 17th November. Hosted at Paparazzi in Manchester 300 lucky competition winners were able to get closer to their WWE idols. WWE RAW Superstars and Divas took to the stage to play their virtual selves in THQ's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2006 on Sony Playstation2. The Superstars and Divas quickly proved they're as skilled in the virtual ring as they are in the real one. After six action packed rounds the finalists emerged for what promised to be a tense and exciting finale John Cena and Chris Masters faced off in the squared-circle in the most electrifying match of the day. With the title only a single victory away, the competition reached a crescendo as the Superstars traded virtual earth shaking blows and bone-crunching slams.
