Game-On At De Montfort University

De Montfort University (DMU) will host a European computer games conference next week as it announces a new three year degree course on Electronics Games Technology.

The 6th annual Eurosis Game-On conference brings together international industry leaders and academics to exchange ideas on programming techniques and how to attract young people to the sector.

Keynote speaker for the event, Jim Parker, Head of the Digital Media Laboratory at the University of Calgary, is a specialist in computer perception with a keen interest in Educational Technology.

The two core tracks covered in the conference will be Artificial Intelligence and Physics and Simulation. Other subjects discussed will include; Facial Animation, Voice Interaction, Online Game Security and Wargaming.
