| Registration for GSS 2006 The Interactive Entertainment Institute, LLC announced that registration for the G.A.M.E.S. Synergy Summit 2006 to be held Tuesday-Wednesday, January 17-18, at Wyndham Orlando Resort at International Drive, is now open. G.A.M.E.S. Synergy Summit 2006 addresses the convergence of interactive gaming, simulation protocols, and the next generation of beneficial applications for interactive multimedia tools, techniques, and technologies. GSS06 is the event bringing together multiple disciplines with business and industry leaders involved in using the latest game related tools, techniques and technologies to entertain, teach, inform, train and educate. Unlike other conferences, G.A.M.E.S. Synergy Summit focuses on collaboration in developing common understandings, identifying commonalities and differences, forging useful relationships, sharing knowledge and best practices, as well as looking to future developments. In addition to last year's format that included the Welcoming Reception, Plenary Sessions, Technology Exposition, Networking Reception and Hospitality Suites Night, Working Groups and three Bridges, a fourth "Bridge" on Funding and Financing of Interactive Multimedia Projects has been added to the conference schedule as well as a "Demo Zone" where independent developers and small technology companies can show off their games and technologies.
