Nikita, 1C, and Crossway Systems jointly announced the official release of Sphere, in Brazil. The successful massive multiplayer on-line role-playing game (MMORPG), which has formed on-line community in Russia, is now available for Brazilian players. Starting November, 11th, the Brazilian version of Sphere is on sale in the country, offering the game's original functionality without compromise to the Brazilian fans of this genre: a feature-rich PvP (player versus player) system with a broad variety of character appearance variants and much more.

A dynamically changeable game environment, complete freedom of game universe design, a wide range of trading opportunities, a large number of different monsters, 13 game specializations, armory and weapons visible on the characters as well as magic spells and artifacts, castles' capture, forming of clans, and more -- all in Sphere!

The Brazilian version of Sphere uses the Portuguese language. The high localization quality allows the players to become accustomed to the virtual world quickly and eliminates the inconveniences of a language barrier. Technical support is available and players can also join an official forum, allowing them to discuss any questions on the game project they might have.

A cluster of powerful multiprocessing servers based on the Intel XeonTM DP processor form the technological foundation of Sphere. The server part of the game software is specially optimized in order to take advantage of the Intel HyperThreading technology. This guarantees reliable, high-quality online services for a large number of concurrent users.

Sphere is the first and to date the only MMORPG game created by Russian developers. The project proved commercially successful and also led to the formation of a MMORPG players' community in Russia. Sphere continues to grow to this day, winning more fans with every additional feature. The release of the game in Brazil marks a new stage of the development of the project. In the course of the official testing phase, many Brazilian players have already visited Sphere. From today, the virtual world of Sphere is open to everybody in Brazil.
