| New action/adventure game for girls As more girls are playing video games than ever before, and according to The Education Arcade, 39% of all video game players are female, Buena Vista Games decided to create new games for handheld video game platforms. BVG's newest release, Kim Possible: Kimmunicator, is the first Kim Possible game created for the Nintendo DS. Based on the international hit animated series Kim Possible, the game is now available at retail outlets across North America. It follows BVG's stellar year of several game launches based on Disney Channel series, each showcasing female lead characters. Included are Disney's Lizzie McGuire 3: Homecoming Havoc, Disney's That's So Raven 2: Supernatural Style and Disney's Kim Possible 3: Team Possible. Kim Possible is a cheerleader, high school student and girl who can save the world from evil villains. Her latest action/packed adventure game, Disney's Kim Possible: Kimmunicator, has players joining Kim and Ron Stoppable on an multi-part adventure that combines action and comedy, all set in vibrant 3D environments. The Nintendo DS dual-screen capabilities are maximized for a unique game play experience. Players can pick locks and assemble gadgets using the DS touch screen and microphone. These tools and more will be needed for Kim to defeat the omnipresent villain Drakken, who has kidnapped Wade and is forcing him to develop yet another Doomsday device. Kim and Ron's pet Rufus, a naked mole rat, must go undercover to rescue Wade and foil Drakken's fiendish plans before it's too late. In 15 action-packed levels, the game includes puzzle sequences, Kim's hidden outfit and her stealth maneuvers such as para-gliding into Drakken's lair to rescue Ron. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Game News :: home page |
