| Semi-finalists for Amped 3 soundtrack 2K Sports announced the 20 semifinalists in the Amplifier Challenge contest. The Amplifier Challenge allowed fans to choose the bands they want to appear on the Amped 3 Official CD Soundtrack and Amped 3 fans can vote for one of the bands to win $10, 000 and send them to play at the South by Southwest music festival next spring. The Amped 3 Soundtrack will be available in November as a pre-sell promotional item at major retailers and at 2K Sports events. On the official Amped 3 web site (http://www.Ampedsnowboarding.com) fans can listen to the 20 tracks featured on the Amped 3 Soundtrack and vote for their favorite. The band that receives the highest average fan rating will win $10, 000 and a coveted slot at the revered and influential South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas in March 2006.
