| Sky Gamestar Celebrates 4 Years Tomorrow (21 October), is Sky Gamestar's official 4th birthday. Sky Gamestar is Sky's dedicated TV games channel available in over 7.8 million Sky homes. Since its launch in October 2001, Sky Gamestar has established itself as the UK's number one interactive games portal. Over 50 million games have been played since launch and over three million households have played a game. Sky Gamestar has delivered versions of classic games like Monopoly and Millionaire, as well as big names like Scooby Doo and Mickey Mouse, into millions of households. To celebrate, on Friday (21 October) and Saturday (22 October) Sky viewers will be able to play every single game for free. There are over 20 games available at any one time, at the moment viewers can play Wallace & Gromit, Pac Man, Sudoku, Pyramid Solitaire, Scrabble, Tetris, Herbie, Monopoly, Scooby Doo, Shrek and Connect 4. The birthday celebrations then continue for two weeks, with a week of Buy One Get One Free deals on the Star Day Pass (a ticket which allows you to play a selection of games all day) and selected games. There are also massive daily giveaways, prizes include the sought after iPod Nano and Sony PSP console.
