| Fatal1ty Wins World Tour Stop In Singapore Auravision, Inc. announces that Fatal1ty, the world's best known PC gamer and five-time world CPL champion, won first place in Singapore, the most recent PainkilleR qualifying stop of the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL). After the final stop in Chile the last week of October, he'll be one of 32 who has qualified to compete in the Grand Finals in New York in November. Fatal1ty's wins have been achieved on five different games, an unheard of feat in videogaming. Fatal1ty's final match in Singapore was against Sander "VoO" Kaasjager of The Netherlands, his opponent in each of the last five World Tour stop finals. The rivalry between VoO and Fatal1ty is the talk of the CPL Tour. "It was a very exciting win in Singapore, " notes Fatal1ty. "I really wanted to win this one on Creative's home turf, since Singapore is the home of Creative Labs, one of my licensed partners." write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Game News :: home page |
