| New PS2 Region Free DVD product A new DVD Region Free product dubbed 'ZONE FREE DVD for PS2' is launching this week athttp://www.zfdvd.com. Zone Free DVD is a Playstation2 DVD disc which removes the region coding from any Sony PS2 video game system world wide. This is including the new smaller "PSTwo Slim" version of PS2. Simply insert the ZFDVD disc into the PS2, turn on the system and follow the prompts. Using Zone Free DVD to remove DVD region code protection does not require any special tools, equipment or hardware, it is a simple Plug and Play user experience. Other PS2 DVD region free software in the past required additional hardware and an expensive memory card, but not ZFDVD. RCE or DVD Region Coding Enhancement is the latest protection the movie manufacturers have thrown at us. It is another layer of protection, which disallows all new movies to play on Region Free DVD players. This is a thorn in the side of everyone using region free players because the movie industry has rendered useless the Region Free players that exist in the market today. There are DVD region disable codes or DVD mod chips which when installed remove the Region Code from many home DVD players. However with RCE, these too are now obsolete. ZFDVD is the only solution which bypasses all DVD Region Codes including RCE! Zone Free DVD also has FREE internet upgradeability, so even in the unlikely event that Sony would release a new version of PlayStation2 which is unsupported, simply connect the PS2 to your home or office internet connection, and in a few minutes the software downloads and upgrades itself to support the latest version. We don't expect this to happen, but if it does, we are prepared so retailers do not have to worry about inventory being outdated. The product will be commercially available at the end of October, and the manufacturer is already shipping wholesale orders to retailers. The retail price of Zone Free DVD for PS2 will only cost between $9.95 to $12.50 US Dollars. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Game News :: home page |
