| THQ to host first ever European Superstar Challenge THQ Ltd, a subsidiary of THQ Inc., today announced its first ever THQ European Superstar Challenge. The videogame competition, featuring top WWE Superstar talent, is scheduled to take place in Manchester on 17th November 2005. WWE Raw Superstars will go head to head in the virtual world of WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2006, THQ's much-anticipated release for the Playstation2 computer entertainment system and PlayStation Portable handheld entertainment system. This no-holds-barred competition will test whether the Superstars have what it takes to be king of the gaming ring as they compete in a one-on-one knock out tournament to take home the first THQ European Superstar Challenge title. The THQ European Superstar Challenge will be an exclusive event for WWE fans, allowing them to get closer to their idols than ever before. Tickets for the inaugural event will be available exclusively through promotions with THQ's selected media partners.
