Juozas Miltinis (1907-1994) – actor and theatre producer. In 1931 finished the Kaunas State Theatre Performance School. In 1931-1932 performed at the Shaulay Drama Theatre. In 1937 finished Charles Dullin’s Performance Studio in Paris. In 1937-1938 studied in London. In 1938-1940 led the Studio of the Work Palace Theatre in Kaunas. In 1940-1980 Juozas Miltinis was the art director, senior producer, head of Juozas Miltinis’ Peformance Studio. Produced about 70 performances. In 1980 he became a honourable citizen of Panevezhis. In 1995 the Panevezhis Drama Theatre was granted the name of Juozas Miltinis.
