Well, I can save them the effort. Given that aviation biofuels currently cost 4 times the market price for petroleum-based jet kerosene, they are obviously far from profitable, unless massively subsidized.

And most potential sources are not "sustainable". And even if Norway were to use sustainable sources, such as used restaurant grease, the net effect on the environment would not be positive. That is because this source would then no longer be available to biodiesel producers, who will turn to virgin vegetable oils, such as from soy or palm oil.
