| With such a high technology construction using BIM-to-field method, BASF may want to consider using a Trimble TX 8 3D scanner to scan the building. The scan images are scanned as point cloud and it can be used to overlay over the BIM models (such as Trimble’s Trkla softwares) and compare how accurate the building has been built. This application is called Field-to-BIM. |
