| Powtech 2022: Experts from a host of sectors gather to discuss bulk solids production and processing The sustainable processing of powders is a goal that is powerfully supported by Powtech 2022, its exhibitors, speakers and high-calibre supporting programme. From 27 to 29 September, experts and users from numerous sectors will gather in Nuremberg to discuss the increasingly sophisticated methods for processing technology and analysis that help make current production processes even more efficient and reliable. After three long years, experts in bulk solids processing and production will finally meet on site again at Powtech in Nuremberg. This year's trade fair pairing of Powtech and Fachpack is expecting more than 1,600 exhibitors from Europe. Around 500 of these will be presenting their solutions for mechanical processing technology and analysis at Powtech. One trade fair ticket gives trade visitors access to both events and their exhibitors. Powtech is both a networking and knowledge-sharing platform. In a host of presentations and at the exhibitor stands and special shows, visitors will learn about innovative approaches to the processing of powders, granules and bulk solids. When planning their visit, visitors are recommended to take a look at the new Industry Guide, which will help them find relevant exhibitors and presentations quickly and easily, whether their interest is in food and feed, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, plastics and rubber, ceramics, glass, pit and quarry, or environment and recycling. Spotlight on resources and environmentally compatible methods The important questions from the various sectors will be answered on all three days of Powtech in the many free sessions at the expert forum "stagetalks" in Hall 3 (no separate registration necessary). Alongside perennial favourites like efficient and safe powder processing, specialists will provide plenty of inspiration for the Powtech world of the future in the thematic clusters "Environment", "Future Energies" and "Industry 4.0". Trade visitors will receive practical knowledge "to go" on a range of topics, including the cost-effective handling of battery materials, waste-to-energy solutions, protein processing in the manufacture of plant-based milk alternatives, real-time volumetric measurement of bulk solids, and the powder management of metal powders in additive manufacturing. Visitors can find out the latest on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging at the Pharma.Manufacturing.Excellence Forum in Hall 3A. This forum covers a wide range of subjects, from coating, granulation and cleaning to continuous production and tablet manufacture. Visitors will gain an overview of modern equipment and control strategies for tabletting processes, coating formulations, equipment, cleaning solutions, and processes for the continuous manufacture of solid oral medicines. Innovative and explosive The VDMA Special Show "Air Movement – Sustainable Process Technology for Air Pollution Control and Drying" in Hall 3 shows how the efficient separation of harmful dusts and effective emission prevention protect people and the environment. In addition to these aspects, the exhibiting VDMA member companies will focus on maximum operational safety and the permanent optimisation of work processes. The issue of explosion protection will also be given due consideration, with controlled live explosions – including spectacular bangs and flame effects – taking place daily in the Powtech outdoor area. Each day of the event will also include presentations that provide insights into German and international developments in explosion protection standards, research and technology. The supporting programme is complemented by special guided tours on fire and explosion protection, where experts comment on key aspects, products and solutions at selected stands. Looking to the future At the Networking Pavilion, people who are passionate about mechanical processing technology can network with like-minded professionals. It's where industry and research establishments, start-ups and major players come together to discuss the issues affecting future markets and technologies. At the "Innovation made in Germany" pavilion, German start-ups and young companies present the innovations of tomorrow. write your comments about the article :: © 2022 Exhibition News :: home page |
