On 28 July 2020, the SMTconnect will open its doors digitally for the first time. The program and the list of all exhibiting companies, partners and institutions participating are now available online.

From 28 – 29 July 2020, attendees can look forward to an exciting program, comprehensive networking options, and contributions from high-ranking experts as well as discussions on current products, services and developments in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Effects of Corona and sustainable manufacturing on the industry
In an EMS Special on the first day of the event, SCOOP founder Philip Stoten will discuss the extent to which COVID-19 is accelerating the digital transformation of the industry. The group discussion includes representatives from the Zollner Elektronik AG, the KATEK Group and the Celonis SE.

Moreover, Kim Sauer from WNIE will hold a discussion on sustainable manufacturing and the circular economy. Another focus of the talk will be the recycling and regenerating processes to optimize products, components and materials at all times.
