| Cassiano Facchinetti leaving Koelnmesse Brazil Cassiano Facchinetti (38), Managing Director of the subsidiary Koelnmesse Organização de Feiras Ltda. in Brazil, is leaving Koelnmesse. He took over as Managing Director of the São Paulo-based subsidiary following its establishment in 2015 and has played a significant role in developing Koelnmesse business in Brazil ever since. Following successful organisation of Anufood Brazil 2020 this week, Facchinetti expressed a wish to terminate the employment relationship at short notice in order to pursue a new professional challenge. The management team at Koelnmesse granted his wish with a view to setting a new course as early as possible in this important market. The Brazilian market is of great importance to Koelnmesse and forms an essential part of the company's internationalisation strategy. Since the Ltda. was established, the programme of events locally has grown to its current level of four trade fairs. New events include Pueri Expo (for the needs of babies and children), the Wellfood Ingredients Summit (functional and healthy food) and ANUFOOD BRAZIL, the food fair, which was just successfully organised at the beginning of the month. In 2015, the Koelnmesse subsidiary also took over the Brazilian trade fair organiser Interfeiras and, with it, incorporated the children's fashions fair FIT 0/16 into the Koelnmesse portfolio, which comprises around 80 events worldwide. Denis Steker, Senior Vice President International at Koelnmesse, will assume responsibilities for managing operations at the subsidiary until a successor can be found. write your comments about the article :: © 2020 Exhibition News :: home page |
