A study conducted by retail research institute IFH Köln in collaboration with retail consultancy BBE has found that this market currently has a volume of around EUR 7.2bn in Germany alone. The significance of this sector is reflected at the Spielwarenmesse which is regarded among international manufacturers as a central business hub for the baby and infant segment. Opening its doors from 29 January to 2 February, the world's leading toy fair invites visitors to discover the huge spectrum of toys and related ranges for our youngest members of society.
