| Interzoo Trade Fair Party 2018: „Around The World“  The strong run enjoyed by Interzoo (Tuesday, 8 to Friday, 11 May 2018) continues. The world’s leading trade fair for pet supplies has achieved a new record for exhibitors and exhibition area joining from Germany, Europe and beyond. The number of exhibitors has passed the magic mark of 2,000 (2016: 1,818). Companies from about 70 countries will present their products and services in an exhibition area of 120,000 square metres (2016: 115,000 m˛). Interest on the part of exhibitors from Germany and elsewhere in Europe has grown constantly since 2014. The proportion of foreign exhibitors has reached a new peak of 83 percent, and the number of German exhibitors has grown remarkably by 10 percent compared to 2016."Around the world in 80 days"? At the official Interzoo 2018 party, exhibitors and visitors can travel around the world in just one night – with no luggage, but with unforgettable encounters and impressions. With the theme of "Around the World", the world's leading fair for pet supplies will host a fascinating tour of the world's continents, starting at 6:00 p.m. on 10 May at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, NCC Ost, level 1, and featuring typical food and drinks from the various destinations, show acts, live music, a DJ and a personal "holiday photo". The Taiko ensemble "Wadokyo" (pictured) will add Asian flair and mystical drum rolls, with its thunderous performance of strength, precision and passion. The ancient, powerful rhythms, the mighty, vibrating drums, and the aesthetic yet vigorous movement of the players' bodies all give the Japanese Taiko style of drum performance a special magic and appeal all of its own. The trio "Cuba Vista" will bring Latin American joie de vivre to Nuremberg and take the public on a trip through the most beautiful musical landscapes of Cuba and Brazil. Havana's legendary "Buena Vista Social Club" will come to life again at Interzoo with the swaying salsa, captivating bolero, stirring bossa nova and the spirited samba. There will be more than just dancing and music on offer for the party guests, however, with an opportunity to ride the perfect wave on an Australian surf simulator without getting even slightly wet. The surfers can then be carried away by fire dancers through the savannas of Africa, and celebrate their daring wave ride with drinks and their own cocktail creations in the Africa Bar. They will be accompanied by the band "Short Cuts", which has been a popular feature with guests at previous Interzoo parties.
