High-calibre congress programme now online

For the fifth time, international heat pump experts will be gathering at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg for the European Heat Pump Summit on 24 and 25 October 2017. Speakers at the summit will explore all aspects of industrial and commercial heat pump applications in a wide range of presentations and will also look at application scenarios for heat pumps in housing construction, hybrid systems, and the development of components and integration of heat pumps into smart grids. Simultaneous interpretation (German / English) will be provided for all presentations at the European Heat Pump Summit. In addition, the Foyer-Expo will give delegates the opportunity to find out about the latest products and innovations from exhibiting companies.

"Delegates at the European Heat Pump Summit 2017 can once again look forward to a first-class congress programme, which this year puts the spotlight on markets, development and applications for heat pumps. We are delighted to have already received numerous confirmations for the accompanying Foyer-Expo from renowned industry players attending the standout event for the heat pump community in the autumn. Their participation underscores the importance of this high-calibre event, '' says Daniela Heinkel, Senior Manager Exhibitions, NürnbergMesse.

R&D results
This year the presentations will focus on the successful use of heat pumps in both commercial and industrial applications, including detailed descriptions of the associated applications. The latest R&D results relating to the tapping of renewable energies when using heat pumps in nZEBs, hybrid combinations and smart grids will also be presented. The summit will also explore new developments in components and innovative systems for the future.

Featuring a large number of presentations, the symposium offers a comprehensive two-day programme which can now be viewed online. More than 30 prominent German and international speakers will be available to answer questions about the status quo and future of the heat pump.

This year's thematic areas include:
• Market developments
• R&D
hybrid systems – hot water heat pumps – nZEB – smart grids –
apartment blocks – innovations – photovoltaics + heat pumps
• Development of components and products
refrigerants – compressors – heat exchangers – fans – pumps –
controls
• Applications for heat pumps
industrial – commercial – residential

A highlight of this year's European Heat Pump Summit will once again be the inclusion of a segment on the heat pump initiative of the International Energy Agency (IEA-HPT), designated IEA HPT Annex in the summit programme.
