| Greenshowroom & Ethical Fashion Show: Light and breezy Classic cuts with unique detailing such as lacing, flowing silhouettes with refined details like trumpet sleeves, lighthearted patterns and romantic all-over prints, sporty touches and plenty of streetstyle appeal – this selection of labels exhibiting at the two tradeshows Greenshowroom & Ethical Fashion Show Berlin are showing that summer 2018 will be colourful, multi-faceted, lightweight and airy. With ethnic influences from all over the world, they are whisking us off on a journey around all four corners of the globe. Lanius: Feminine sportiness Welcome to India! Welcome to Africa! Inspired both by Indian and African indigenous peoples, Lanius is starting the upcoming season with the collection looks BLOSSOM SEA, NEO NAUTICAL, URBAN NATURE and MASSAI SPIRIT. The silhouettes of the pioneering Cologne label's sustainable ladieswear exude feminine sportiness: think oversized styles combined with details like lacing, piping, cropped hems and various sleeve solutions that can be modified by the wearer. Frieda Sand: Girl Power! A feminist spirit is blowing in the wind at Frieda Sand. The Frankfurt label is synonymous with sustainable fashion for confident women. Diversity paired with an awareness of the world – Frieda Sand's collections exude power and stand out with their vibrant colours, graphic patterns and natural fabrics that are fairly traded and produced. Mimmëko: Beach whispers The Basque brand from Bilbao has a very close connection to the Atlantic Ocean. Beaches, reefs, sunsets and driftwood in the sand are their inspiration – so it's no wonder that the label specialises in high-quality basics made of sustainable natural and recycled materials. Graphic patterns, statement shirts and prints that inspire ocean dreams define the spring/summer 2018 collection. Dedicated: Pop around the clock BOOM ! Dedicated has not only committed itself to fair and ecological production, but also creative design with a vivacity and zest for life. True to their statement #goodvibesonly, the Swedish label has created another collection that combines lifestyle influences ranging from boardsports to music – with fun prints, bright colours and plenty of tongue-in-cheek wit and charm. Recolution: Humorvoll. Lässig. Urban. Urban jungle vibes meet the sound of nature. Hamburg label Recolution has been making streetwear with a green conscience since 2010 – brightly coloured, loud and ecologically responsible. Their upcoming spring/summer 2018 collection features modern and sporty key looks in fresh, summery colours. Maritime stripes and prints with bold and witty visuals make for a striking fashion statement. Open edges, casual tailoring and drop shoulders give the styles their typical urban vibe. And everything is made with GOTS-certified materials so you can count on all garments being ecological, fair and vegan! Slowers: Fresh tones Eyes wide open! Inspired by the music and colours of Africa, Spanish shoe brand Slowers is combining fun-loving pink, mint, light blue and yellow with vegan, environmentally friendly materials like cork, jute, natural rubber, organic cotton, linen and the natural leather alternative Piñatex. Their vision: to create lace-ups, sandals and espadrilles that feel as natural as walking barefoot. Jan 'n June: Understatement meets embellishment Hamburg label Jan 'n June is staying true to its minimalistic style while also surprising us with decorative details in their new collection: casually clean silhouettes meet experiments with midi lengths, flared sleeves and lacing. This year, the understated colour palette in black, white and grey is being contrasted with a light red – and, for the first time – prints: minimised stripes and a tropical visual as an all-over print are getting us in the mood for summer! Cossac: Sassy but classy Contemporary, high-quality clothing and newly designed basics with a bold look. Young British label Cossac is designed in London and produced in Europe. With their spring/summer 2018 collection entitled "Transeasonal", the brand is liberating itself from the rigid restraints of the seasons and instead establishing a more varied approach with modern styles that not only lend themselves to versatile, personalised interpretations all year round, but also to day and night looks. In keeping with this, the collection impresses with transeasonal, neutral hues – ranging from ivory and sand to black. Rhumaa: When fashion design meets art Dutch label Rhumaa works with talented artists from developing countries such as South Africa and has made it its mission to reconcile art, history and culture through fashion. With linear, strong tailoring, Mozambique-born artist Sizwe Khoza has given the latest collection the same expression of hope and strength he also conveys in his art. Nat-2 : Futuristic sportiness Shoes made of wood? That was the vision of sixth-generation shoemaker Sebastian Thies. With his high-end label nat-2, established in 2007, he has come up with precisely that: the first sneakers made of real wood – vegan, unisex and produced in Italy. A special procedure makes the material as soft, supple and flexible as the finest nappa leather. And you won't only be impressed by the innovative material of the low-top and high-top sneaker, but also by its futuristic design. Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show Berlin Eco fashion in the spotlight: The Green Showroom and Ethical Fashion Show Berlin are Europe's largest B2B platform for green, fair-trade fashion, taking place at the Berlin Fashion Week.
