| ISH 2017: varied complementary programme picks up on the sector's trending issues ISH, the world's leading trade fair for the bathroom experience, building services, energy, air-conditioning technology and renewable energies in Frankfurt am Main, is the top international event for the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning sector in 2017. Along with the exhibitors' product innovations, it offers a wide and varied complementary programme, dealing with all the current developments in the sector. Specialist lectures with examples of best practice, dedicated displays, panel discussions, competitions and guided tours offer visitors the opportunity to get information, discuss the issues and make new contacts. Key issue for ISH Energy: 'Energy revolution with a future – we have the solutions' The Association of the German Heating Industry (Bundesverband der Deutschen Heizungsindustrie - BDH) and Messe Frankfurt will be presenting the Technology and Energy Forum in Galleria 1 between Halls 8 and 9. With the title 'We have the solutions' everything here is about modern, high-efficiency heating technology that is 'made in Germany'. A joint venture with eleven professional associations from the energy business and industry, the forum covers all the current issues in the heating market. As well as dealing with all the available modern heating systems, the forum will also consider the various sources of energy in the heating market and the current political conditions. At the same time, the forum will be taking a look into the future. What role will digitalisation play in heating engineering? What technologies can be used to achieve the sectoral integration that politicians want, i.e. dovetailing the electricity market and the heating market? Which sources of energy will dominate the heating market in the future? And what role will new technologies such as fuel cell heating play? The Technology and Energy Forum provides answers to these and to many other questions. The multi-media exhibition furnishes extensive information on all the topics mentioned here and experts from the professional associations and industry will report on these issues in the lecture forum which will be held every day. The Building Forum in Hall 10.3 will showcase innovative solutions for the professional design and realisation of buildings and real estate and for their energy-efficient operation. Presentations by the building automation industry will focus on analytical tools for developing control strategies for building services installations. Companies involved in design and realisation will showcase holistic intelligent building services concepts. Joint organisers are the German Industrial Association for Building Services and Technical Installations (Bundesindustrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung e.V. - BTGA), the German Professional Association for Automation + Management in Homes + Buildings, part of the Federation of German Machine and Plant Manufacturers (Verband Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau – VDMA), the German Property Federation (Zentrale Immobilien Ausschuss e.V. - ZIA) and Messe Frankfurt. The lecture area in the Hall is aimed at building management specialists, industry representatives, property developers, architects and planners. This is already the third time that the Real Estate Forum of the BTGA is being held, organised jointly by the BTGA and Messe Frankfurt. It is intended to foster dialogue between the real-estate business, technical building services and installations engineers. Companies involved with technical installations and plant construction will be presenting integrative solutions for ensuring high levels of energy efficiency, whilst at the same time retaining with the best possible interior environment within the building. The highlight of the Real Estate Forum is to be a presentation on Building Information Modelling, with, at its centre, the platform 'BIM within reach'. The entire forum will be accompanied by a programme of lectures on current themes in building services and technical installations. The Stove Forum in Hall 9.2 addresses current issues in the sector such as, for instance, energy policy, the potential of wood as a heating fuel, as well as technical developments and trends. The Stove Forum is organised by the German Tiled Stove Working Group (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der deutschen Kachelofenwirtschaft – AdK), the Industrial Association for Heating and Kitchen Technology (Industrieverband Haus-, Heiz- und Küchentechnik – HKI) and the German Central Association of Sanitation, Heating and Air-Conditioning (Zentralverband Sanitär Heizung Klima – ZVSHK), in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt. With the slogan 'Wir für Euch' ('We for you'), the ZVSHK will be presenting its exclusive portfolio of services for association members in the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning trades in Germany. The ZVSHK stand in Hall 8.0 is a rendezvous point for all trade visitors who are involved with energy-efficient heating and bathrooms suitable for older age groups (energy and demography). The special display also serves as the starting point for thematic guided tours on the most important new products and innovations relating to water, heating and ventilation. ISH Water - key issue: 'Bathrooms for people' In the Trend Forum, 'Pop up my Bathroom', organised by the Association of the German Sanitation Industry (Vereinigung Deutsche Sanitärwirtschaft - VDS) displays various models for planning individual bathrooms. Bathrooms, today, are as individual as the people who plan them, both in terms of their functionality and their aesthetic. This is a demonstration of how, with the help of the specialist trades, bathroom planners and the industry, each user can create their own bathroom to suit themselves. Thus, on the one hand, there are solutions for all possible built-in bathrooms, in all conceivable versions and variations, as well as individually adaptable systems for bathroom furniture and equipment. On the other hand, individual notions can be realised using the bits and bytes of taps and fittings, lighting and sound systems. An integral part of the Trend Show is the lecture series entitled: Pop up my Bathroom Atelier. It serves as a central rendezvous point for communication with others. Visitors are provided with masses of inspiration and suggestions through informative talks and fascinating discussion groups. The Trend Forum is to be held for the first time in the Saal Europa in Hall 4.0. New special show for the installation trade: Bathroom Workshop – We present the future! The special show 'Bathroom Workshop – We present the future!', organised by VDS, in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt, is a new attraction aimed particularly at the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning trades. The future of bathroom installation and the advantages of pre-fabrication are presented here in a clearly accessible way, with an emphasis on practical issues. In each case, a complete bathroom (10 square metres) is to be built from pre-fabricated installation systems, including cladding with tiles and the installation of surface-mounted products. The focus of this promotional area is on process-oriented solutions. Here visitors can find out, for instance, how the build-up of a backlog of work can be avoided and a lack of qualified staff can, to a certain extent, be offset, through the use of intelligent pre-fabrication. Valuable additions, too, are the audio guide for smartphone, which will provide more in-depth information, and the opportunity to book relevant seminars via the website of the VDS. The 'Valuable Water' forum is devoted to current themes relating to drinking water hygiene and the safety of heating systems. At the stand of the Federal German Swimming Pool and Wellness Association (Bundesverband Schwimmbad und Wellness - bsw) in Hall 5.1, visitors will be welcomed in a lecture area with an integral lounge. In conjunction with the University of Art and Design (Hochschule für Gestaltung) in Offenbach am Main, the German Central Association of Sanitation, Heating and Air-Conditioning (Zentralverband Sanitär, Heizung, Klima – ZVSHK) have developed the 'Bathroom 4.0' project in the light of digitalisation in the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning industry. Their presentation will be given for the first time at ISH. With the help of 3D glasses, trade visitors to the show will be able to get an idea - in virtual reality - of the students' newly developed concepts. The presentation will be given as a cooperative venture with the Association of the German Sanitation Industry (VDS) in the Water Lounge. Sponsoring partners of the project are manufacturers Geberit, Hansa, Oventrop and Pall. Aircontec – air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation The Air-Conditioning Forum will take place in the North Foyer of Hall 11.1 as a complementary addition to the innovations of exhibitors in the field of air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation. This new information and communication platform has been devised by the Building Climate Trade Association (Fachverband Gebäude Klima e.V. - FGK) in conjunction with Messe Frankfurt. In short stimulus talks, to be followed by subsequent panel discussions, a number of high-calibre speakers will pick up on current issues and burning questions in the field of air-conditioning and ventilation engineering. Planned questions to be dealt with will include: “15 months of the ErP Directive and market surveillance - what is people's experience so far?” And: “In which direction will domestic ventilation develop, in the face of what is, now, an extremely broad range of products?” In cooperation with Messe Frankfurt, the Association of German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Companies (Verband Deutscher Kälte-Klima-Fachbetriebe e.V. – VDKF), will be organising the 'IKK Bu write your comments about the article :: © 2016 Exhibition News :: home page |
