| Top-rate speakers at SeSa Talks What can the Turkish construction industry do to provide high-quality, sustainable, and safe solutions for the diverse future demands and needs in Turkish cities? The conference program "SeSa Talks" will give answers to this at SeSa Build, held at the Convention Center in Istanbul on February 25–27, 2016. It will particularly deal with the topics "Building and Engineering Safer and Sustainable Cities", "Designing and Modeling Smart Buildings" and "Success Stories from a SeSa Build Perspective". Possibilities will be pointed out in the conference program and associated exhibition showing how the specific characteristics of the Turkish market can be considered in planning and construction. Top-rate speakers from architecture, science, politics and industry will present their ideas, concepts and solutions at the conference. The speakers at "SeSa Talks" include, among others: Dirk van Peijpe, founder of the office "DE URBANISTEN" as well as a recognized and passionate city planner. His strengths in city planning lie in finding new solutions to urban problems. Mr. van Peijpe will speak at the Congress in the topic area of "Building and Engineering Safer and Sustainable Cities" about how we can make our cities more resilient and at the same time more attractive. www.urbanisten.nl The distinguished Prof. Dr. Murat Güvenç, Director of the Istanbul Studies Center at Kadir Has University of Istanbul, will speak on the same topic about development and sustainability in the metropolitan area of Istanbul. On the second day, the climate specialist Thomas Auer and the architect Julian Weyer, among others, will speak in the topic area "Designing and Modeling Smart Buildings". Climate specialist Thomas Auer develops climate and energy concepts for buildings. His approach focuses on the combination of architecture and building technology. Energy resources are to be used optimally in this context. The architect Julian Weyer, partner at C.F. Møller Architects, Aarhus, Denmark, will deal in his presentation with integrated solutions in urban development through social and architectural innovations. The last trade fair day will deal with the topic "Success Stories from a SeSa Build Perspective". Bo Jerlström, former Ambassador for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will talk about the Swedish project SymbioCity and apply the experiences that were made in Stockholm to Istanbul. The term SymbioCity represents a fast way to comprehensive and sustainable urban development through a combination of city systems.
