Perfectly prepared to visit Creativeworld Extensive spectrum of services offered by Messe Frankfurt

Creativeworld, the world's most important trade fair for the international hobby, handicrafts and artists' requisites sector, opens its doors from 30 January to 2 February 2016. Almost 300 manufacturers from over 30 countries and well over 8,000 trade visitors from more than 80 nations are expected to transform Halls 4.1 and 4.2 of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre into a creative melting pot. Visitors wanting to make the most of their time at the sector's leading trade fair should organise their tickets, travel and hotel arrangements at an early stage. Detailed planning is possible well in advance thanks to the online services focusing on exhibitors, conference topics and special shows here. Below, you will find all tips for making optimum preparations for the fair.

Hours of opening
Creativeworld opens from 09.00 to 18.00 hrs on the first three days and from 09.00 to 17.00 hrs on the last day.

Tickets
Trade visitors can purchase their day or season tickets in advance via the internet. This saves time and money: online tickets cost over 20 percent less than tickets purchased at the box office on arrival at the fair. Moreover, online tickets not only include free travel using local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority in Frankfurt and the region for the journey to and from the fair but also, in the form of a print out or mobile-phone ticket, save long queues at the entrances. But that's not all: Creativeworld tickets also entitle the holder to visit the concurrent Paperworld and Christmasworld fairs. Naturally, tickets are also available from the box offices at all entrances to Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre.

Travel
Centrally located, Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre is easy to reach by air, train, car or local public transport. The Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof) is only a few minutes away and has direct suburban and underground train links to the Exhibition Centre. From Frankfurt Airport, it only takes about 20 minutes by taxi or suburban train (change at the Main Station). Visitors coming by car benefit from a direct link to the Exhibition Centre from the 'Westkreuz Frankfurt' junction on the A5 motorway, which takes them straight to the Rebstock multi-storey car park.

Special offer: train ticket including season
Messe Frankfurt and German Rail (DB) offer an attractive package arrangement for all exhibitors and visitors wanting to come by train. It includes a DB fully-flexible ticket (i.e., not tied to a specific train), a season admission ticket and the official Creativeworld catalogue. The arrangement can be booked via the Creativeworld website.
There is also a special arrangement for exhibitors and visitors wanting to fly to Frankfurt. Lufthansa, the Messe Frankfurt Airline Partner, offers reduced ticket prices and special conditions. The booking can also be made via the Creativeworld website.
Detailed information about getting to the fair by car, plane, train and / or local public transport can be found here.

Baggage service
The Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Austrian, Brussels Airlines and Swiss) offers an exclusive baggage service at Creativeworld 2016, which enables travellers to check in their luggage at the Exhibition Centre. Lufthansa organises the free baggage transport to the airport and ensures it is put on the right flight. After checking-in with the Lufthansa Group online, cases must be left at the Baggage Drop counter in the City Entrance on departure day, no later than three hours before scheduled departure. Thus, passengers can travel from the Exhibition Centre to Frankfurt Airport when it suits them best and save having to queue at the baggage drop there. On arrival at their destinations, passengers can collect their bags as usual at baggage claims. Advance booking is not necessary and the baggage regulations published apply.

Accommodation
Hotels of all categories are detailed in the Messe Frankfurt Hotel Guide. Further information about accommodation in Frankfurt can be found on the website of Tourismus & Congress GmbH here.

Calendar of events, interactive hall plan and app
The complete programme of events at Creativeworld with details of times and venues of all lectures, awards ceremonies and special occasions can be found in the online calendar of events on the Creativeworld website. There, visitors can obtain not only a detailed overview of the programme but also save dates of interest to them in a watch list and share it via their social network channels on Facebook, Google and Twitter. Visitors can manage their watch lists with a Messe Frankfurt My Account. Registration for this is free of charge.

The interactive hall plan is an important orientation aid. It shows the exact location of individual exhibitors and where the various special shows and events are to be found.

Anyone wanting a good orientation aid at the fair itself should download the Creativeworld Navigator App for smartphones (iOS and Android operating systems). It includes the interactive hall plan, the exhibitor and product search engine, the calendar of events, information about trends, the latest news about the fair, etc. – all of which can then be simply popped into a pocket or handbag. The app can be downloaded from the Creativeworld website.

Exhibitor search engine
Where can I find which exhibitor? In which hall is which product to be found? Thanks to the online exhibitor and product search engine, these questions are quickly answered. A personal favourites / watch list, all necessary information about companies and products can be gathered with just a few clicks, stored and called up again later. A personal Messe Frankfurt MyAccount is also required to use the watch lists.

'My Inspiration' journal
The 'My Inspiration' journal is a somewhat different catalogue for Creativeworld, which includes not only a list of exhibitors but also lots of inspiring ideas and news about innovative products and highlights. Supplementing the printed medium is a clearly laid-out calendar of events. The 'My Inspiration' journal will be available at the fair free of charges.

Newsletter
Visitors not wanting to miss the latest Creativeworld news and highlights should subscribe to the free Creativeworld newsletter, which provides regular information about special activities, competitions, exhibitor innovations and news from the sector. Subscriptions can be taken out here.

Blog and social media
Background information, interviews and creative stories relating to Creativeworld and the 'Do-it-yourself' mega trend are published regularly on Twitter, in the Creativeworld Blog and the Creativeworld Facebook page.

Free W-LAN
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the Exhibition Centre during the fair. All visitors need is a notebook with a W-LAN card or a smartphone. Child care
Two nursery teachers look after children aged three or over in the 180 square-metre Messe Frankfurt kindergarten on level 1 of the 'Torhaus' building. Parents with babies can also withdraw to this child-oriented environment, to feed the baby in peace, change the diaper or warm the baby food.
