| gamescom day tickets for private visitors completely sold out A little less than two weeks before the beginning of gamescom 2015 (5 to 9 August), and thus earlier than ever before, day tickets for private visitors are completely sold out. Those who could not get a ticket in the advance sale, but still want to experience hundreds of new concepts and products and an appealing event programme live at gamescom, under this year's central theme "Next Level of Entertainment", can still buy discounted afternoon tickets on-site. Sales and admissions start from around 02:00 p.m. onward. It should be noted, however, that waiting times are to be expected for the purchase of afternoon tickets and admission to the exhibition grounds. Admission is dependent on visitor circulation, i.e. the volume of visitors leaving the exhibition grounds. Previous years' experience has shown that visitors start to leave the exhibition site as early as around midday. To process admissions efficiently and in order to keep waiting times at the ticket outlets as short as possible, holders of valid day tickets are requested to use the entrance at Hall 11 and to take note of the signs. For trade visitors: tickets for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of gamescom and 3-day tickets for the three days are still available in the online shop and at the box office. The tickets also serve as valid travel cards on both the Rhein-Sieg (VRS) and Rhine/Ruhr (VRR) public transport networks.
